PREVIEW: Heineken Sound Atlas brings the best of Tokyo to Longitude

This summer, Heineken is bringing the spirit of Tokyo’s music scene to Ireland with a new, unique set up.

The beer brand’s global music platform, will take inspiration from Tokyo as it brings an immersive festival experience to Longitude at Marlay Park. Heineken’s music team has spent six months collaborating with the capital’s most influential movers and shakers to inspire this new festival experience.

Over 80,000 Irish festival goers will now have the opportunity to get an insight into the Japanese culture with the staging, music and food inspired by Tokyo.

Here’s what you can expect from the Heineken Sound Atlas Tokyo at Longitude 2015.


*A custom-built structure similar to Tokyo’s underground spaces.

*A Japanese-style Izakaya

*A noodle bar

*A ping pong tournament


*Sound Atlas Tokyo Short Film - a documentary about Tokyo’s music scene through interviews, visuals and cityscapes.

Longitude takes place at Marlay Park, Dublin, from July 17th - 19th.
