Martin Amis and Chrissie Hynde announced for Festival of Writing and Ideas

Author Martin Amis and musician Chrissie Hynde have been added to the impressive line-up of The Borris House Festival of Writing & Ideas.

FIve years in, the festival has grown to include fiction writers, historians, journalists, broadcasters, photographers, war correspondents and musicians.

Over 70 speakers will descend on Borris, Co Carlow for the three day festival running from June 10-12.

Amis and Hynde will join previously announced guests Kate Tempest, Michael Chabon, Joseph O'Neill, Kate Summerscale, Bruce Robinson, John Banville and many more.

Speakers will come from India, Eritrea, Pakistan, USA, Ethiopia, North Korean, Israel, England, and Wales.
