If you're heading to Longitude next weekend you're in for a special treat or two thanks to 3 and Heineken.

3Live returns with the brilliant top deck which offers an uninterrupted view of the main stage.

There's a disco theme this year and the dance floor is designed to make you feel like you're partying inside a giant disco ball.

A soundtrack of soul, funk and pop will come courtesy of DJs Marcus O'Laoire, Toast DJs and up and coming homegrown talent.

If you need a bit of a festival make-over you can get a disco make-up look from Jade Mullet and there will be body art painters on hand too.

Handily, there will also be phone banks available at 3Live.

Elsewhere Heineken is bringing 'Live Your Music' to the festival. Check out www.Facebook.com/3Ireland

Live Your Music hands over control to the crowd, allowing them to program the lighting, visuals and atmosphere.

It's a custom built space featuring DJs and collectives from the worlds of house, disco, hip-hop and R&B including Lui Rwego, Bobofunk & District Magazine.

New technology will gauge the energy of the crowd by tracking noise levels, body movement and heat.  So, according to Heineken "the more energy unleashed by music fans the more experiences will be unlocked".

At The Club you can create their own bespoke nightclub experience, using a custom-built Heineken control panel to choose the music, strobes, smoke and visuals.

Inside The Music Box, festival-goers can create music using hidden drum pads, synth triggers and samples and In Scope uses innovative GIF-capturing technology to allow music fans become part of the show, selecting and broadcasting their images through giant LED screens on-stage.

Music fans can join the crowd and sign up for exclusive experiences  at: www.heinekenmusic.ie
