Leftfield announced as headliners for Townlands Carnival 2018

Rusheen Farm at Macroom in Cork will play host to an eclectic line-up this July for the fourth Townlands Carnival.

Leftfield have been announced as the first headliners and will be joined by King Kong Company at the top of the bill.

Festivities will take place over the weekend of July 20-22 with five stages of music including reggae, hip hop, folk, rock and dance as well as fancy dress and interactive art installations.

Towlands is partnering with UK label Ghetto Funk and they'll bring Stanton Warriors, three times UK DMC Champion JFB, WBBL and the Ghetto Funk Allstars.

You can also expect some folk courtesy of The Eskies and the reggae and dub lineup will be announced shortly with Worries Outernational and Rub-a-Dub HIFI  while Cork music will be represented at Townlands with Spekulativ Fiction, Lowli, Damsel, Dry Roasted Peanuts, Bailer and Order of the Mess.

The Village Green which includes the Village Hall, Big Bubbles Kids Area and Craft area will inspire and ignite ideas as workshops, talks and performances are hosted by some of the country’s most passionate community development professionals. 

Three day early bird tickets cost €95.  Tier 1 prices expire on January 31.
