The Dalkey Book Festival rolled out three days of some of the world's greatest writers - Irish and international - in a variety of intimate venues in the sun-kissed suburb this weekend, and it went down a storm.

It was the seventh year of the festival which was set up by Sian Smyth and David McWilliams in 2010 and among this year's 100 plus speakers were homegrown faces including Rubberbandits' Blindboy Boatclub, David O'Doherty, John Banville, and Paul Howard.
