Forever Young: Dig out the blue eyeshadow and legwarmers for 80s festival with The Human League, Kim Wilde, Marc Almond and more
A host of 80s stars are set to descend on Naas this July for the Forever Young Festival 2019.
The Human League, Holly Johnson, Level 42, Kim Wilde, Jimmy Somerville, Marc Almond, Bonnie Tyler, Midge Ure and more will play at Palmerstown House Estate across the weekend of July 5 to July 7.
Also among the line-up are Hothouse Flowers, Heaven 17, Katrina (& The Waves), The South (Beautiful South), T'Pau, Andrew Strong, Bagatelle and more.
Relive the era of legwarmers, cassettes, and the Walkman with some of the top acts of the 80s. The nostalgia quotient is high...
Camping is available (with a welcome party for campers on Friday July 5) but there is also on-site luxury glamping, motorhome and caravan parking for those who don't particularly want to slum it in a flimsy two-man tent from a budget supermarket chain.
There will also be on-site parking and regular local and Dublin shuttle services for those who want to go home.
Standard festival offerings of bars and food village will also be on site as well as fairground rides, a tribute band stage, and a silent disco.
Tickets from €107 from www.foreveryoungfestival.ie (no booking fees)
