They said it would be the biggest and best Drogheda St Patrick’s Day parade yet, and how right they were as the myths and legends theme made for a stunning visual display.

Hundreds turned out to line the streets despite the damp weather, and the various sports clubs, groups and troupes ensured it was well worth the trip.
