Body & Soul 2013: Festival Essentials
With festival season about to enter full swing, we begin the first of our exclusive online festival guides to the hottest line-ups in Ireland this summer.
WHAT: Body & Soul.
Expect the unexpected. Body & Soul is a more low-key, atmospheric festival, which just happens to have a killer line-up for the weekend. Indulge your inner hippy in utter bliss.

It's nestled between the towns of Athboy and Clonmellon, Co. Meath. On the N52 (Kells to Mullingar road), it’s about 3 miles south of Clonmellon and 4 miles west of Athboy.
WHEN: Friday, June 21 - Sunday, June 23

By Bus – Galway / Cork.
Regular commuter services from Limerick, Cork and Galway also have buses that get into Dublin in time to connect with Body&Soul buses departing from Custom House Quay.
Work your body and mind and try a charity cycle to Ballinlough Castle. This year, Body & Soul have teamed up with Green Sod Ireland.
Of course you can drive too, but take note of your route carefully as there will be several restrictions in place.
CAMPING? WHERE TO SLEEP AND WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.
1. Camp sites open at 3:00pm on Friday, June 21 and close at 1:00pm on Monday, June 24.
2. You can try out the Quiet Camping Field, Family Camping, Boutique Camping and the Us&You Camping. Something for everyone depending on how hard - or soft - you want to party.
3. Leave the land as you found it. With Body & Soul being a more grown-up festival, you'll have to act like it when you leave and make a conscious effort to clean up after yourself.
Were you looking for something you didn't find? Check out www.bodyandsoul.ie and tweet Irish Independent 'Field Reporters' Caitlin McBride (@mcbride_caitlin) and Vicki Notaro (@vickinotaro), who will be hitting all the hottest festivals this summer and let them know what you want.
