Explain this: Eerie video shows mysterious flickering lights over Area 51

Steve Barone filmed the bizarre lights - which conspiracy theorists claim show a UFO - at the foothills of Red Rock Canyon near his home in Las Vegas Nevada.

He lives just an hour from Top Secret Area 51.

The footage was captured on April 12 and the UFO hunter explained that after a couple of hours of nothing, “all hell broke loose”

Speaking to The Mirror he said: "It was very quiet for my first hour outside last night.

"I wasn't seeing anything and then all hell broke loose.

"First one, then two, then more and more. They put on a spectacular show. I am glad I was patient because the show they put on kept on getting better and better."

The footage was uploaded to Youtube where conspiracy theorists took it as proof that aliens exist.
