Bruno Mars and Calvin Harris headline Derry's 'Big Weekend' music festival
Bruno Mars, Biffy Clyro and Calvin Harris will headline one of Europe's biggest free music festivals being held in Northern Ireland this year.
BBC Radio 1 also revealed Dizzee Rascal, Maverick Sabre, The Vaccines, Ellie Goulding, The Saturdays, Paramore, Vampire Weekend and The Script as among more than 40 acts to play its Big Weekend in Derry.
Olly Murs and Two Door Cinema Club were announced earlier this year.
The ticket-only event, which has been booked out, takes place in the city's revamped Ebrington Square over the Bank Holiday weekend from Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26.
It is among a number of major concerts and events taking place in Derrythis year as it celebrates being named the UK's first City of Culture.
Ben Cooper, controller of Radio 1, said the line-up would thrill the thousands of music fans who snapped up the tickets for the three-day festival in under an hour in April.
"This event is my favourite moment of the year - watching a great crowd sing along to amazing artists makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end," he said.
Radio 1 DJs including Pete Tong, Zane Lowe, MistaJam along with carnival bassline hostess B-Traits, Toddla T, and Dance Anthems DJ Danny Howard will get the party going on Friday.
The Big Weekend will be broadcast live on Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra and streamed online. BBC Three will also air highlights from acts across the three days.
There will be a number of workshops and events in the city leading up to the concerts.
During the week, young people in Derry will be invited to attend Radio 1's Academy and take part in masterclasses in music, business, radio, design, TV production, event management, digital media and journalism.
