Not just for the die-hard lovers of fine arts

The lovely thing about the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts annual exhibition is that it's for everyone, not just die-hard lovers of fine art.

There are paintings, sculptures, prints and photography on display, as well as architectural contents. Work on display will straddle both the traditional and the contemporary. Established artists will display alongside emerging ones and the mix of tastes as well as talent will be sure to satiate all eyes. If you fall in love during your jaunt to the gallery, you'll also have the choice to become an owner of the art, as most of the work will be for sale.

The exhibition opens this Tuesday and runs until August 18. See www. royalhibernianacademy.ie.
