Love blooms anew

Clodagh Finn

What if the star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet had lived and loved?

What a deeply satisfying notion for the romantics among us to ponder in the run-up to St Valentine's Day.

You won't be disappointed with the reinvention of one of the most-celebrated relationships of all time, either. Olwen Fouere is Juliet and Owen Roe is Romeo in the moving and delicate 'A Tender Thing', which is directed by the award-winning Selina Cartmell at the Project Arts Centre in Dublin. It runs until February 15.
