Jerry Hall and David Soul yesterday at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre, where they are starring in AR Gurney's 'Love Letters'. Colin Keegan/Collins BROADWAY star and former supermodel Jerry Hall has been enjoying the Dublin social scene and catching up with old friends before the opening of the Michael Scott-directed production of AR Gurney's 'Love Letters' at the Gaiety Theatre last night.
"I've been out for dinner with Penny and Desmond Guinness in Leixlip Castle and I've been enjoying a few other restaurants around Dublin since I got here.
"I've so many friends in Ireland and it's great to see them again," she said yesterday.
"We leave for London next week but I want to get up to a museum before that; there are always such great exhibitions and I love art."
Ms Hall -- who is the mother of four children with Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger -- has also starred as Mrs Robinson in various stage productions of 'The Graduate'.
Meanwhile, her 'Love Letters' co-star David Soul, 'Hutch' from 1970s' cult television series 'Starsky and Hutch', said he was glad to be back on Irish soil.
"I love it here; I lived in Killiney for a year in 1980, and it's always nice to get back to Ireland. Unfortunately, I can no longer get here as much as I'd like," he said.
'Love Letters' is an ill-fated story between two lovers who can never commit to each other, played out solely through their love letters from junior school through to middle age. It previewed at the Gaiety last night and will run until Saturday.
