GPs and their patients have access to a new special selection of self-help books through the 'Power of Words' bibliotherapy scheme, which was launched by Dublin's Lord Mayor Oisin Quinn last week.

A joint initiative between the HSE Dublin North East, the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP), and Dublin City Council's library service, the collection features a selection of 97 books that have been recommended by a group of psychologists and GPs working in Ireland.
