Gerry Ryan’s son Rex joins the entertainment world
THE son of the late radio presenter Gerry Ryan looks set to follow in his father’s footsteps by joining the entertainment industry.
Rex Ryan (22) has landed an acting role in a production called ‘The Circus of Perseverance’, which will be performed in the Back Loft theatre as part of the fringe festival.
The show, which is being produced by the Gonzo theatre company, has been described as a comedic tribute to Dublin city.
Rex is currently undertaking his studies at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin.
Gerry’s eldest daughter, Lottie(25), already works in broadcasting, regularly presenting entertainment news on 2fm’s Colm Hayes show.
The late radio presenter’s middle daughter Bonnie(19) dreams of becoming a professional singer.
Rex’s play, The circus of Perseverance, will be performed from September 10th to 15th at the Back loft theatre as part of Dublin’s Fringe festival.
