Dubray's coffee-table books for christmas

Books signed by the author make presents a bit special and the Dubray shops have a selection to choose from. For example, you can get a signed copy of Ross O'Carroll Kelly's Nama Mia (was €18.70, now €13.99) or Cecelia Ahern's The Time Of My Life (was €17.35, now €12.99).

Dubray has two coffee-table books that would make very impressive presents.

Leonardo Da Vinci 1452-1519. The Complete Paintings And Drawings

This sumptuous extra-large-format hardback is the most thorough and beautiful Leonardo da Vinci book ever published. A special edition, it was produced to commemorate art publisher Taschen's 25th anniversary at the special price of €53 -- Dubray Books has reduced that further to €40. Coming in its own storage box, this will certainly produce the 'wow factor' on Christmas morning.

Caravaggio, The Complete Paintings

Also from Taschen, this really is one to drool over for anyone who is interested in art. It's currently only in stock in Dubray's Grafton Street branch but they will transfer a copy to another branch if requested. Large-scale reproductions of all the paintings give a detailed overview of Caravaggio's entire work. This one sets a new standard in art books; it was €118 and is now €75.

Other books Dubray has on offer include:

1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die

A new edition of the ultimate critical guide to history's greatest albums, spanning more than 50 years of outstanding music across all genres, from the genesis of 1950s rock 'n' roll to the electronic innovations of the 2000s. Was €23.50, it has now been reduced to just €16.99

Paul Scholes: My Story

One of the better soccer books of the year, from one of the most likeable players. Paul Scholes, a Manchester lad himself, was lauded recently by Xavi as the finest midfielder of his generation. Forget the annual, this hardback illustrated autobiography is the perfect gift for Manchester United fans. Was €23.50, now €17.99.
