DANCERS Philip Connaughton, Antonio Trinidad and Robert Heaslip were involved in some serious action at Dublin's Dance House yesterday.
They took to the streets to launch Irish Modern Dance Theatre's latest show 'Actions', which opens at Mullingar Arts Centre today and Civic Theatre in Tallaght on Thursday.
The show sees the dancers alternately throwing their bodies together then fragmenting into threads of raw movement.
First staged by the dance company in September 2009, and their biggest international hit show to date, the new run will give Irish audiences a chance to revel in this amazing work choreographed by John Scott who founded Irish Modern Dance Theatre in 1991. As part of this national tour, which runs until February 6, the Irish Modern Dance Theatre will also stage the production 'The Bowling Dance' in a double-bill performance.
