Daytime TV show !mpossible is getting a prime-time spin-off.

Hosted by Rick Edwards, !mpossible Celebrities will air on BBC One.

It will see 18 celebrities compete across six episodes to give themselves a chance of winning £10,000 for a charity of their choice.

BBC entertainment commissioning controller Kate Phillips said: “Viewers will find it impossible not to love this show…

“I can’t wait to see the celebrities commence brainy battle as they try to avoid that impossible answer!”

Celebrities have to “avoid giving impossible answers”, which can knock them out of an episode.

!mpossible Celebrities will start filming later this year.
