Mick Wallace TD will no doubt be the talk of the Dáil after making an interesting choice of outfit.

Speaking about a report on the Recogniton of Traveller Ethnicity on Thursday, Mr Wallace addressed his fellow deputies wearing just a grey, sleeveless shirt.

Mr Wallace has been criticised in the past about his clothing but he usually opts for just a simple blue or pink t-shirt.

However, his latest choice of outfit may just raise a few eyebrows from those previously calling for a dress code to be imposed.

Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó’Feargháil told a Dáil committee last October that the dress code of a certain number of TDs had been a common cause for complaint from members of the public.

Mr Wallace is one of a number of TDs who have been publicly criticised for their choice of clothing, with others including Richard Boyd Barrett, Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan and Clare Daly.
