A video of three Irish men dancing to Charlie Chaplin’s iconic speech in ‘The Great Dicatator’ and the score of ‘Mind of a Beast’ by The Glitch Mob has spread all over the world.

Choreographers and dancers Kieran Hardiman, Alan Kenefick and Ciaran Plummer teamed up for the dance video.

The trio work on different dance shows around the country and abroad, but wanted to come together to inspire fellow Irish dancers to collaborate.

“I have my own company Prodijig and I choreographed the dance,” Alan told

“Ciaran Plummer has his company 'Taptronic' and Hardiman is a choreographer/freelance dancer and lead in 'Celtic Steps'.“

“Irish dance can be so competitive and we want to show the world that you can dance to modern music and the idea of what an Irish dance is can be changed,” the Cork native added.

The three lads filmed the video against the backdrop of University College Cork.

“I never went to UCC. I'm from Cork and UCC just suited the vibe we were looking for,” Alan revealed. “I thought it was going to do well but not this well. This is awesome. We've been contacted by quite a few people to do gigs.”
