WATCH: RTE Weather presenter Nuala Carey gets set to abseil down 164-foot building... but can't take the leap of faith
What better way to celebrate a Lotto jackpot than to abseil down the side of Dublin's 164ft-high Convention Centre?
Lotto presenter Kamal Ibrahim did just that today, braving the bitter winds for a spot of abseiling.
And, although Nuala stood at the top, she admitted she couldn't take the leap.
“When I woke up that morning, I was like ‘Maybe I’ll do it’. But it’s strange. Until you stand there at the top of this very tall building, you don’t know how you’re going to feel,” she said.
“I have no problem with heights per se but I’ve never been as high as that.
“It wasn’t really the height that worried me but you do have to take a leap of faith and a step into the unknown.
The duo were celebrating tomorrow's €10 million jackpot.
Although Kamal didn't have any Lotto advice, he did have a few words of instruction to Nuala as he tipped himself over the edge of the roof. "Whatever you do, don't look down," he said.
Meanwhile, Nuala joked as she put on her weather forecasting hat.
"I think it's windy, it feels windy," she laughed.
Tomorrow’s jackpot has been rolling since 18 November 2015, and Wednesday night will be its 17th draw.
This draw now offers players all over Ireland the chance to win the biggest jackpot in the game since 4 April 2015.
