WATCH: The coolest president around... It's just Michael D Higgins rapping

The latest video from the Fupin Eejits is a cracker, featuring President Michael D Higgins rapping - kind of!

Kicking off with President Obama bowing out the footage then flips to Michael D as he recites WB Yeats poem A Prayer For My Daughter.

His enigmatic recitation is accompanied by the beat of Eminem's Lose Yourself and the effect is impressive.

Here's the excerpt from the poem Michael D tackles in the video (above):

And under the arches of the bridge, and scream

In the elms above the flooded stream;

Imagining in excited reverie

Dancing to a frenzied drum,

Out of the murderous innocence of the sea.

May she be granted beauty and yet not
