Modern Family's Ed O'Neill attempted a Kerry accent as he recalled his recent trip to Ireland.
The actor was at the Global Green's Oscar's pre-party on Wednesday night, Leonardo DiCaprio's star-studded, eco-friendly bash.
O'Neill, who's famous for playing Al Bundy in Married with Children and Jay Pritchett in Modern Family, took to the green carpet with his wife Catherine Rushoff and chatted to RTE's Stephen Byrne about his Irish connection.
"My mother and father's family came over in the 1850's so they're 'famines' but the records were lost," he explained.
The actor, who spent 12 days in Ireland last year on a family holiday, said he had been looking into purchasing a home in Cork.
"We were looking at a house in Skibereen, beautiful house with ocean views," he said, as his wife explained the house was back up in case America "went to hell".
The Modern Family star then turned into everyone's favourite uncle at a family wedding when he launched into an account of Kerry's political dynasty, the Healy-Raes - complete with an impression of the late Jackie Healy-Rae.
