A bride and groom treated the people of Galway to a brilliant impromptu wedding dance on Shop Street with the help of local buskers.

Kate Divilly and Declan Tannam tied the knot in Galway on Friday.

When the church ceremony was over, the newlyweds decided to take a little walk down Shop Street where they bumped into a group of buskers who insisted they stop for a wee dance.

So their first dance turned into a little street party as crowds of wellwishers cheered them on.

The action was caught on camera by Ciara Nungesser, who watched the action unfold from Brown Thomas.

The story was shared on Today FM'S Dermot and Dave Show and is now doing the rounds online.

A little bit of good cheer to get you through Tuesday.
