Watch: Dublin star Stephen Cluxton surprises with steamy samba at Strictly charity event
Dublin football star Stephen Cluxton spent his Saturday night entwined in a sexy samba as he took part in a Strictly Come Dancing event for local charities.
The Dublin goalkeeper (35) joined his dance partner Marian Rowan on stage at the Regency Hotel in Drumcondra and demonstrated his samba skills to the tune to Naughty Boy's Runnin'.
Cluxton's 16-year county career seemed to translate well to the dance floor, as the GAA star easily carried out some Dirty Dancing-esque lifts throughout the performance, as well as some out-of-character hip swings.
To be stage-ready for #Strictly4Legs, Cluxton spend seven weeks rehearsing for the big night.
The GAA star's performance on the dance floor must have been nerve wracking, as metres away sat judges Dustin the Turkey, Panti Bliss, Rory Cowan, Jean Byrne, Louis Walsh and Linda Martin.
Cluxton, who wed his long-term girlfriend Joanne O'Connor in 2015, was taking part in the event to raise funds for St David's Shool in Artane, who are hoping to purchase a new mini-bus. Proceeds from the evening will also be donated to Dog's Aid.
