The Euros are over but they can't move on.

The Green Army made headlines around the world for their good-natured exploits in France during the 2016 Euros. Or, as Charlie Bird points out in this mockumentary, they were known " for getting locked, having the absolute craic and pestering locals with their guaranteed Irish brand of banter".

In his short sketch for RTE's, Republic of Telly, he looks at how the fans are struggling with withdrawal symptoms following the post-Euros comedown and how some of their hijinks in France were misinterpreted because of the language and cultural barrier.

As one fan points out, "They think I'm being charming... but I'm actually a bit of a creep."
