VIDEO: Former boxer (64) fights off three large robbers with ease Newsdesk Newsdesk

A 64-year-old gas station worker shocked a gang of thugs with his defence skills after they attempted to rob the shop he was working in.

The former boxer and current black belt in karate Keith Butler was working at the gas station a Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia when the three men entered the store.

The men proceeded to demand money, before Butler stepped out from behind the counter with a baseball bat and showed off his defence skills.

The footage shows two of the men fleeing the scene immediately, as the third hesitates and stays to fight Butler.

It isn't long before he makes a run for the exit either.

“I’m small, the thing is people who are small react in that way, the way you come up in life, you don’t let people bully you,” Butler said afterwards.

"I’d like to say to the three guys if they’re watching this, get yourselves a job, you’ll earn more money.”
