Tina Fey and Amy Poehler presented the 2014 Golden Globes and delivered another hilarious, well-received opening monologue.

"We're here to present again because this is Hollywood, and in Hollywood, if something kind of works - they keep doing it until everyone hates it!"

They speared stars like "Tam Honks" (Tom Hanks), Matt Damon and George Clooney and reassured the audience that "No offense to last year... but this year is legit".

They touched on the issue of women in Hollywood, quipping that Meryl Streep's latest role is "Proving there are still good roles in Hollywood for Meryl Streeps over sixty".

The comedy duo even laughed at themselves with Fey remarking "I hear Amy Poehler is hard to work with", to which Poehler replied "She's a straight-up b*tch".

Fey kicked off the show by introducing it as the "71st Annual Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's Lee Daniels' The Butler Golden Globe Awards."
