A British newspaper has come under fire for printing the home address of the UK's biggest YouTube couple - who share over 15M fans.

The couple had tweeted out on their social media accounts pleading for privacy after the latest uninvited visitors showed up to the couple's Brighton home.

Zoe Sugg(25), tweeted that fans "just turning up at our house and peering in or ringing our bell" was making her "hate our house!"

Boyfriend Alfie Deyes(22) tweeted that the couple were "sorry to moan" but that people trying to take pictures with their house number needed to "find better hobbies". "If you guys realised how many times a day this happens, you'd understand why I get annoyed".

"Parents who drive their kids to our house and put them on their shoulders so they can lean over our walls to try and take pictures of us... Go away".

"If you want to meet me... come to a meet up just like everyone else".

“You cannot just drive to my house and climb our walls - that is really not fair".

"I am on the sofa in my pyjamas relaxing".

Alfie and Zoe, who share a home together, have over 15M fans on YouTube and just under one billion views.

UK newspaper the Brighton Argus published an article on the tweets in which they included the home address of the couple under the headline "Internet stars in social media moan at the price of fame".

Alfie shared a photo of the newspaper, writing "We tweet asking for privacy & then @brightonargus put our address in the newspaper..thanks".

In response, fans of the couple took to Twitter to defend their right to privacy, with some urging the stars to "call the police".

Some readers of the Argus were less sympathetic, writing that they should "do what all the other celebs with a large young fan base do and pay for security to move these people on".

The Brighton Argus then published a second article on the Twitter furore, reiterating the couple's address and adding that the particular road the couple live on  is "a 1.1 mile road with 95 properties".
