Teresa Mannion has been immortalized in a mural - on an electric box in Salthill
Teresa Mannion became an Internet sensation after her weather report from the eye of Storm Desmond went viral back in 2015.
And people are still getting mileage out of her dramatic report which was broadcast live for RTE from Salthill promenade in Galway.
Dozens of tribute videos appeared in the weeks following the report including Super Ceili's earworm remix, which sampled Rihanna's hit 'Umbrella'. Comedians Oliver Callan and Andy Quirke also took a good-natured pop at the RTE journalist, and a little girl and Tipperary man did pitch perfect impressions.
Teresa also revealed that news giants CNN had been in contact with her while Ariana Grande mimicked her on Snapchat and even Snoop Dogg took notice.

Now, however, the best tribute has been paid - with a mural of Teresa on an electric box in Salthill, accompanied by her famous quote, "Don't make unnecessary journeys. Don't take risks on treacherous roads."
Teres shared a pic of the tribute on Twitter with the caption, "Arty types finished spray printing me onto an electric box in Salthill today. respect. #streetart #madaboutgalway #visitgalway #salthill #stormdesmond @metoffice @superceili #galway"
It's the gift that keeps on giving.
