Teacher makes pact with students to cancel exams if they can get Taylor Swift to call him
A teacher has promised his students he will cancel their world history finals if they can get Taylor Swift to call him.
Student Ike Stoner brokered the deal on behalf of his class, his teacher Colter Pierce agreed, and the pact has now gone viral.
KTVQ reports that Pierce, a teacher a Skyview High School in Montana, had been talking about Taylor "pretty much all semester" and that's why she was chosen as the target of the social media experiment.
If Stoner could use the internet to get Taylor to call, the students would not have to sit their exams.
Taylor has been known to call unsuspecting fans and surprise them on occasion, but she has yet to respond to this rather odd request.
Stoner said it started out as a "kind of joke" but he has tweeted an image of himself and Pierce shaking on the deal in front of a white board, serving as a contract.
Cue teachers the world over being pestered for similar until the summer break. Although we're not sure it would get you out of the Leaving Cert.
