Set to collect your Leaving Cert results? Here are the best bits of advice on social media

The moment of truth is just around the corner - but the over-riding message to those collecting their Leaving Cert results on Wednesday morning is, "don't fret".

Social media users have come out in their hundreds to share their own advice to those set to tot up their points this year.

And the over-riding message was, "you'll be okay".

"You are much more than an amount of points," one Twitter user wrote, while another commented; "No matter what you get, you can always shape your future the way you want".

A third tweeted: "My advice: don't eat breakfast cos then you won't vom in the car on your way to the school [sic]."

Another wrote: "Please remember, some of Ireland's greatest entrepreneurs have built empires from intelligence not points."

Without fail, the annual hashtag #LeavingCertResults has been trending in the hours leading up the big reveal.
