New mum shocked to find hospital parking fine had been paid for by kind stranger
A woman in Australia was pleasantly surprised this week thanks to the extraordinary thoughtfulness and generosity of a female stranger.
The new mum shared the heartwarming story on Facebook, posting the details on the ‘Canberra Mums’ Facebook page.
She explained that she had been in hospital with her nine-week-old baby son, and on returning to her car she discovered to her dismay she had been given a parking ticket.
But fortunately, she discovered a very welcome message stuck to her windscreen by a stranger called Laura.
“Hi there,” it read. “I saw your car had a parking ticket on it. I’m sure [that] whatever you are going through at hospital is tough enough, so I have paid for you."
Now that's what we call sisterhood.
