Lea Michele on Cory Monteith: "I lived every day feeling like the luckiest girl in the world"
"I thought he was the greatest man"
Lea Michele has opened up to chat show host Ellen about the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith.
The actress discussed the immediate aftermath of the news, including 'hiding out' in Kate Hudson's house in order to 'take a moment' away from the 'memories' at her own home.
Ellen commended the Glee star on dealing with the tragedy publicly. Michele reminded viewers that "It's only been a few months."
Michele got teary-eyed towards the end of the interview where she discussed Monteith's appearance on the Ellen show. "I remember when he came home that night, he kind of puffed out his chest and he was like, 'I talked about you on 'Ellen' today.' I was so happy. He was such a private person... that memory, it just means so much to me'.
"I literally lived every day of my life feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole world. I just thought he was the greatest man."
