Perry, who was surprised to hear from 'King', chatted to the character for almost seven minutes.
The singer, who recognised the character's voice almost immediately, 'loves' Ja'ime and her "private school look".
Perry asked Ja'ime for fashion advice during the show, coached her on how to attract boys attention and the duo declared themselves BFFLs. (Best Friends for Life).
Perry, who was due to fly to Toyko after the interview, received Ja'ime's blazer as a present, to which she responded 'thanks for your hand-me-downs!"
The interview ended with Perry declaring "ILY!" and signed off with "Konichiwa b*tch!"
'Ja'ime King' was a character created in the cult Aussie mockumentary 'Summer Heights High', created by and starring Chris Lilley as the main three characters. King built up such a following online that she received her own spin-off show which started this year, called 'Private School Girl'.
