Is this the best service ever? Morning-After Maids will clean up your house and feed your hangover after a session
Where do we sign?
There's nothing worse than waking up with a pounding hangover only to be greeted to the site of a living room littered with empty cans, wine bottles, dirty plates and glasses and half-eaten Meanies and Doritos packets strewn all over the floor and couches.
Don't even step foot into the kitchen, the crimes against cleanliness committed there were much worse.
You have two choices: go back to bed in the hope that someone else will clean it (or at least the bulk of the mess before you attempt it) or take on the task yourself, all the while fighting back tears and the urge to throw up.
But what if we told you there was a third and much better option?
Two genius New Zealand women have created a service that would change your life... if you lived there that is.
The Morning-After Maids will come to your house and clean it up, they'll also bring you breakfast, painkillers and, best of all, puppies.
Yes, puppies. Real-life, adorable puppies who will make you forget about every cringeworthy moment from the night before.
Flatmates Rebecca Foley and Catherine Ashurst launched their service in Auckland a month ago and have been dealing with requests from around the country, as well as calls from people in the US and Canada interested in franchising the startup.
We hope this concept spreads to Ireland soon.
