The latest charity to jump on the selfie trend is the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.

#Delfie is short for Dog Selfie, and even though dogs can't take selfies, we'll let that one slide for a good cause.

The idea follows on from the #NoMakeUpSelfie - post a 'Delfie' and donate and tag others to do so.

The #NoMakeUpSelife raised more than €1m for the Irish Cancer Society. The idea saw hundreds of thousands of Irish women post snaps of themselves online without make-up, along with a screenshot of the donation to the charity.

Now, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind are hoping to enjoy similar success with this scheme.

Don't forget to tag your snaps #Delfie!
