'I have to say, that is one woeful pancake' - Leo Varadkar made a pancake and everyone has the same criticism

Twitter is a tough crowd, especially when you're the Taoiseach.

Leo Varadkar keeps his 134,000 followers up to speed on his political endeavours on a daily basis throwing in the odd tweet about the more mundane happenings in his daily life.

We recently saw him placing a spoon in the dishwasher, a move which incited the wrath of the masses.  He also tweets about his novelty socks on occasion.

The latest tweet is a photo of an alleged pancake he shared on Pancake Tuesday with the caption, "Last treat before the Lenten fast begins.  Looking forward to an uber healthy 40 days".

The pic showed the aforementioned alleged pancake on a plate with an assortment of berries, lemon, and even Nutella to accompany it on the table.

Aside from being called out on Lent actually being 46 days, and questioned on his use of the word 'Lenten', most people had the same observation to make about Leo's alleged pancake.

It's very thin.  In fact it's transparent.  And people are mesmerized...
