It's Friday the 13th and there's a hurricane heading for Ireland. Are they connected?
Who knows. What we do know is that Hurricane Ophelia is behaving rather strangely and may or may not cause havoc here on Sunday night.
Latest news suggests the storm is currently 'gaining strength' but is 'expected to be downgraded to a post-tropical storm' by the time it hits Irish shores.
That doesn't sound so bad. There's a 'tropical' in there, right?

Currently people in Ireland don't appear to be too concerned. The main concerns shared on social media relate to getting beers in and whether or not the schools will be closed on Monday.
