Skydivers in Wisconsin had a lucky escape when their plane collided with another group's plane in mid-air.

The two planes collide in mid-air, with one breaking in half and heading into a tailspin while alight.

The experienced skydivers managed to leap from the burning plane and parachute to safety while the pilot of the burning plane used his emergency parachute to escape the burning wreckage, suffering cuts.

The second pilot pulled the second aircraft out of a tailspin and landed the safely despite serious damage to the aircraft.

Many of the skydivers were recording on GoPro helmet cameras during the incident, which can be viewed below, in footage exclusively licenced by NBC.
