The barmen and barwomen of Monroe's Tavern in Galway have shed their uniforms in a charity calendar.

Even the boss got in on the act, with no staff member left clothed.

The pictures feature colour splashing, with various green and red items popping from a sepia background.

The brave group cover their modesty with an assortment of trinkets from an Irish flag, to a shamrock, to a heart-shaped chocolate box.

The Christmas calendar is on sale for €10 and all profits will go to Cancer Care West and can be bought here.

Monroe's Tavern is on Facebook and Twitter.
