Fake 'Jobbridge' listing looks for new Labour leader

A fake JobBridge post is being circulated online which advertises the post of 'Labour leader' in a crack at embattled Labour leader Eamon Gilmore.

The fake listing claims that the intern sought with "gain practical experience taking direction from more senior parties" and that they will recieve training in "virtually nothing".

On completion of the internship, the parody posting claims that the attained skills will include "dodging/absorbing bullets".

Skills required include "someone that can take a battering in the... Irish media."

As with all JobBridge postings, this one promises €50 "in addition to your current Social Welfare payment" and only those on social welfare for more than six months can apply. Applicants must have completed their Junior Cert.

The 'internship' is for a duration of six months and it is not made clear whether or not an opportunity for a permanent position will arise from the experience.

A screenshot of the listing was posted to Reddit by user 'ninety6days' and the tongue-in-cheek post is not believed to have ever actually appeared on the JobBridge or FAS websites.
