Everyone is crying over this photo of Carrie Fisher's dog watching his 'mom' in The Last Jedi trailer
The late, great Carrie Fisher features in the new trailer for The Last Jedi and her beloved French bulldog Gary was among those watching as it landed.
Gary Fisher has his own Instagram account with 141,000 followers.
A heartbreaking new photo was posted this morning with the caption, 'Just watched the new trailer of The Last Jedi and my mom looks more beautiful than ever. #garymisseshismom #garyloveshismom #garyloveshisfans#garyfisher #thelastjedi #starwars.'
Gary, a registered therapy dog, accompanied his mom on the publicity tour for The Force Awakens, appearing on the red carpet and on TV.
Speaking to Fresh Air host Terry Gross in 2015, Carrie said she found Gary in a "very tragic pet store" in New York, and added, "He's not - everything is sort of wrong with him."
She had him certified as a therapy dog so that he could accompany her everywhere regular dogs would not be allowed.
He also has a Twitter account which is handled by an anonymous fan of Carrie and Gary's, who has been approved by the Fisher family.
One thing is clear, the little fella misses his mom, who tragically passed away on December 27 at the age of just 60...
And anyone who has seen the pic of Gary watching the trailer is having a tough morning:
