Do you know this teddy bear's best friend?

A teddy bear was separated from its best friend on Saturday in Cork Airport.

It was spotted alone in one of their airport lounges and was presumably upset at missing out on a planned adventure with his human companions.

The staff had a chat with him, but unfortunately the teddy was too shaken to provide any information about its owners, so they decided to reach out to people on Facebook in an effort to reunite the teddy with its family.

Posting on Facebook, they wrote: "This pink Teddy should have been heading off on a flight earlier today but got separated from his travelling companions. If you are missing Teddy please contact us. Teddy has had his dinner and tea and is relaxing in our lounge at present."

A day later they posted another photo of the teddy in the hope that his image would spark someone's memory.

On day three of the bear's stay in Cork Airport, staff decided that 'Teddy' needed some fun activities to take his mind of his current situation so set him up at the piano.

Apparently he's having a lot of fun "playing the blues" for passers-by but, more than anything, he'd like to be reunited with his family.

Can you help?
