American TV station ABC denies claims made by Nicole Arbour following appearance on 'The View'
The parent company of chat show 'The View' has rubbished claims made by controversial YouTuber Nicole Arbour following her appearance on the show.
The YouTuber behind the viral 'Dear Fat People' video took to social media after appearing on the View to bash the hosts.
Arbour had only nice things to say about host Whoopi Goldberg but the other panelists didn't get off so easily.
Following criticism by the ladies on the View, Arbour took to her Facebook Page, writing: "my view is that some of them ladies need to smoke a joint reeeeeal bad".
On her Twitter, Arbour said that panelist Michelle Collins "p*ssied out" in relation to a joke the cast had previously apologised for.
Speaking to radio station SiriusXM, Arbour alleged Collins was 'badmouthing' nurses - the subject of the controversial joke - backstage.
ABC denied the claims, stating that Arbour and Michelle Collins "were never backstage at the same time".
"Michelle was on the stage from the moment the show started until after the show ended. Nicole was brought down to the backstage area after the show started".
Writing about Whoopi, she tweeted "today, I met a life long idol. And it was cool as hell".
