It seems we don't have much faith in people's originality when it comes to the most popular costumes this Halloween.

A new survey has revealed that 45 per cent of people believe that Donald Trump will, for yet another year, be the most popular option.

The survey, carried out by Fanta, also found that 39 per cent of people are expecting to see multiple versions of Pennywise the clown from the big screen Stephen King adaptation, IT, doing the trick or treating rounds.

When it comes to the most popular spooky movies to check out on the October 31st, Scream narrowly beat The Shining with 15 and 13 per cent respectively.  The Exorcist and A Nightmare on Elm Street both had 11 per cent of the vote.

The best thing about Halloween is the make-up and costumes, according to 31 per cent of people surveyed while 28 per cent are simply in it for the sweets and treats binge.

As for the spookiest hangout on Halloween, the graveyard unsurprisingly garnered 51 per cent of th vote while 15 per cent wouldn't fancy being stuck on a deserted street.  Only 9 per cent fear being home alone, presumably

Fanta's Halloween campaign includes themed Snapchat filters and lenses which will change daily.  Check out Fanta packs with specially designed artwork by Israeli artist Norma Barr.  Fanta is also sponsoring the Nightmare Realm at the RDS.
