Get yourself a car that can do both.

Video footage shared on last night featured a person driving a Mini Cooper through a flooded Salthill Promenade.

The footage which went viral showed a motorist driving along the coast as waves crash against the plucky car.

And this morning someone decided to put the car up for sale on Done Deal as a joke.

"Mini amphibious cooper for sale, 100,000 miles on land and 5,000 nautical miles on water (150 hours), can be used freshwater or salt," the ad read.

The ad listed a sports package which included a number of features fit for an including blow flip-up armrests and extended swim platform. It also mentioned an anchor storage compartment with protective math and bow cooler box.

"This car/boat is like new, serviced and ready to go for the 2018 season. Life jackets not included in sale.

"No test pilots. Contact Eleanor for further details."

The prank ad appeared on the trading site this morning for €750 but was quickly snapped up.
