Man gets bike lock stuck on his neck, Dublin Fire Brigade says it's 'something to watch out for'
We can think of many uses for a bike lock. A necklace is not one of them.
However, one unidentified individual required the services of Dublin Fire Brigade to remove a bike lock from their neck after the key snapped.
It's not known whether the person opted to wear the item willingly or whether someone else forced it upon them. Either way, it's an unusual move.
Dublin Fire Brigade took to Twitter to warn the public about the risks of wearing bike locks.
We helped a person with the release of a lock after a key snapped. Keys can break, even in good quality locks. Something to watch out for pic.twitter.com/iwRitiHcbM— Dublin Fire Brigade (@DubFireBrigade) July 12, 2017

Indeed. It's certainly something to keep in mind.
