Kings of Leon asked fans if they knew anything cool to do in Dublin and responses were as you'd expect
Kings of Leon have played two of their three Dublin gigs (with the third Tuesday night in the 3Arena) and it seems they've been enjoying the shows.
Nathan Followill took to Twitter after their first gig on Saturday night to tell fans they "blew my socks off" and the crowd was "bonkers".
Night 1 is officially in the books Dublin, you blew my socks off. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next 2 shows. See you tomorrow.— nathan followill (@doctorfollowill) July 1, 2017
After the second gig he said he'd been "the sweatiest I have ever been in my career".
Day 2 Dublin. Day off tomorrow so things will get rowdy. Last nights crowd was bonkers so let's see what you got. Any requests? C U soon.— nathan followill (@doctorfollowill) July 2, 2017
With two nights off before Tuesday's gig it seems pints were on the agenda.
"Time for my pintathon to begin" he declared.
What an amazing night and crowd, again Dublin. Honestly the sweatiest I have ever been in my career ever. Time for my pintathon to begin.— nathan followill (@doctorfollowill) July 2, 2017
He had already asked fans if they knew of "anything cool" to do in Dublin and the responses were predictably booze-related, although a couple suggested he head to the Leinster hurling final.
Among the watering holes fans suggested were popular haunts Whelans, Keoghs, the Temple Bar, and Bruxelles.
Other touristy suggestions included the Viking tour and the Guinness Storehouse.
And of course someone suggested this:
We will bring you to Coppers. On me.— Earl of Daventry (@malone_dave) July 1, 2017
They're probably familiar with Coppers. After all, they're 44% Irish, according to Jared.
Correction from tonight's gig. Caleb said we were 1/4 Irish. We're actually 44% Irish. That should have gotten a 19% bigger crowd response.— Jared Followill (@youngfollowill) July 1, 2017
As for the gigs, they went down an absolute storm with fans...
