Journalist dresses as Prince George (2) for a week - and the results are hilarious
An American journalist has gone viral after he made the decision to dress like adorable toddler and miniature style icon Prince George.
"Prince George is 2-years-old and third in line of succession to the British throne. I am 23-years-old and live in a three-person apartment with two windows in Brooklyn," Max Knoblauch wrote.
The New York City based writer was keen to find out the "George Factor" and understand what it is about the young Prince that causes everyone to fawn over him.
Knoblauch's first port of call was to "obtain a wardrobe befitting a toddler Prince" who was recently cited as one of the 50 best dressed males in Britain by GQ Magazine.
The journalist revealed that pulling off Crocs, sweater vests and knickerbocker shorts with the same aplomb as the tot was in fact more difficult than it looks.
"Getting his look correct would be a trial, particularly for someone like me who is not a royal or a baby. The first challenge would be finding the clothes in a men's large. The second challenge would be not being arrested," he mused.
Once he had sourced the relevant attire, Knoblauch spent hours painstakingly stitching motifs such as sailing boats onto the garments.
During the course of his project, Knoblauch was told her looked like a "4-year-old tennis prodigy" and "that guy who is always dressed like a baby" but he maintained that he felt like a King.
